My bff had a doctors excuse sent to jury duty yesterday for jury duty on Monday. She told me this morning and that she had not heard from them whether they accepted it. By 4 she still had not heard from them so I called for her. The lady that answered the phone was professional and understood why I called and even told me why she had not heard from them ( no phone number or email address enclosed)And told me she would get a card in the mail that told my friend that told her the doctors excuse was accepted.Thank you 16th Circ... read more

The 16t judicial circuit handles a massive volume of cases in an overly litigious world. With 200,000 cases a year and limited resources, the 16th judicial circuit does an excellent job providing access to the courts for our citizens. There are a lot of dedicated employees that make it work. Nobody likes to go to court. This court may have ok judges but the records department staff, especially the protection order team, make the 3 Stooges look like rocket scientists. I have already put their director on notice she's about to be a respondent on a federal civil rights lawsuit class action starting with me. I seem to be a convicted felon already although I've never been charged with one much less convicted. Wish me luck

confusing place. they’re a courthouse.. but they think it’s acceptable and legal to expect their workers to perform unpaid overtime. makes no sense.
