On the second floor, where the gym is, it’s unbearably hot because of the swimming pool. The air conditioners don’t work. When you leave the gym for the hallway and the changing room, it feels like a sauna. Twice I almost fainted already. Women with children and without come from the pool to the showers, wash, and use the hairdryer in the small, already overheated changing room. It’s just a nightmare.
Due to lack of swimming pools in Dorchester (this is the only one!) it is often booked out with school swimming lessons and is quite dirty in the changing rooms.
Facilities were ok, but staff very uninterested and some were quite rude. Changing rooms very dirty, especially in the showers.
