The flight was worth the money for the view because the coastline around the 12 Apostles is spectacular and only visible in it's fullest, by air. I opted for the 25 minute ride for $295. As a solo passenger, it was a bit tricky to get on a flight, but the staff kept giving me all the options, as I had to join another helicopter ride. I was only in the area for 1.5 days, and didn't want to miss out, so kept going back to their physical office to check flight status. 「12ｱﾎﾟｽﾄﾙｽﾞﾍﾘｺﾌﾟﾀｰ」 この時、搭乗したﾍﾘｺﾌﾟﾀｰ​は​ﾌﾗﾝｽのｴｱﾊﾞｽ・ﾍﾘｺﾌﾟﾀｰ製の「ｴｷｭﾚｲﾕ(Ecureuil＝ﾘｽ)H130 T2」で、 ​特に観光用として世界中で高く評価されているﾓﾃﾞﾙです。 ​この機体はﾌﾛﾝﾄｶﾞﾗｽが非常に大きく、足元まで視界が開けており、尾部のﾌﾟﾛﾍﾟﾗが​丸枠に収まっているのが特徴です。 ​また、内部は後部座席が少し高く、どの席からも視界が得られる工夫がなされています。 ​訪れた2016年当時、ちょうどこの最新ﾓﾃﾞﾙ(H130 T2)が「12 Apostles Helicopters」のﾌﾘｰﾄに導入され始めた時期でした。

Back in January 2009, my friends and I had an absolute thrill and a lifetime memory here. Taking the scenic helicopter flight to see the Twelve Apostles from above was an incredibly awesome experience. Even on a cloudy day, the bird's-eye views of the dramatic coastline, powerful ocean waves, and iconic rock formations were breathtaking. The flight was smooth, the pilot was professional, and looking back at this video always brings back the pure excitement of that adventure. I’d give a helicopter flight over the Twelve Apostles on the Great Ocean Road a 10/10 experience. “A helicopter flight over the Twelve Apostles was easily one of the highlights of our trip. The aerial views of the coastline were breathtaking and something you simply can’t experience from the ground. Absolutely worth it —
