We had a party of 6 with 12 services booked. $2400 worth of business plus tips. The staff was unapproachable and made us feel like we were imposing on them. Without one of our party having already been there we wouldn't have even known how to get to the spa through the hotel. The women at the desk to check us in were extremely rude. I have never had such a bad experience at a spa. Facials no longer do extractions, but you pay like they do. Visited the Pillar and Post and the 100 Fountain spa yesterday for a pedicure. I must say this is the dirtiest spa that I have ever been to. I was the first one there when the spa opened at 9am and the showers had hair on the walls and floor, it seemed to not have been cleaned from the day before. The “hot spring” which is just an outdoor hot tub filled with heavily chlorinated water (not sure why it’s called a hot spring) was dirty as well, I was one of the first ones there, my hot spring time slot was at 9am. My boyfriend and I chose The Pillar and Post to celebrate our anniversary last week, and unfortunately our experience was very disappointing. From the moment we arrived, the staff felt unapproachable when we asked for help finding the spa, and it seemed as though we were not taken seriously because we are in our twenties. When we finally met our massage therapists, my assigned masseuse, Shayla, was extremely rude.
