He is incapable, unprofessional and should have taken our case. When my daughter gave him the fee in his office, we thought that was it. Then he kept asking for more. He made you hand deliver checks or send them by UPS. I have never dealt with such an attorney before. Never kept his appointments and text me at all hours of the day. I was doing the work for him. Then one day he want me to sign some papers and pay the balance. The amount he was asking was extreme. I never signed the papers and to this day, I am still trying to... read more

I have been a client of Mr. Elbert's for over ten years and have referred friends and family to him because he is a thorough, prepared and excellent attorney. He conducts a thunderous, lightning speed cross examination and leaves his "victims" scratching their heads after being questioned by him. He is completely fearless in the court room and is a merciless adversary. If you have to go to court, do yourself a huge favor and hire JOHN BRENDAN ELBERT to represent you!

I hired John to represent my son who was charged with a serious crime I knew he did not comit. I was just about the only one who believed in him...until I met John. I knew right from the begining that I had hired the right lawyer for representation because he made both of us feel that we weren't alone anymore in our battle. Our case lasted approximately one and a half years and, truthfully, it was extremely stressful but it would have been much more stressful had it not been for John. He was always there for us whenever we h... read more

Mr. Elbert is a highly skilled and experienced trial attorney. He has always been available when needed and responds in a timely fashion. He is caring, explains issues in an easy to understand manner and kept me involved in the decision making process. He is of high moral character: honest and trustworthy. He is extremely assertive and gets results. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

David C. and Denise G are disgruntled former clients who probably harassed the hell out of Mr. Elbert's office staff. I paid Mr Elbert several thousand dollars to represent my daughter on a murder charge. Not only did he do everything he said he would but he returned every phone call, email and text message promptly. I know that Mr. Elbert is an extremely busy man and will do whatever it takes to professionally represent his clients. How many lawyers give out their cell phone numbers?

I'm totally agreeing with the last reviewer. John Elbert gave me a fee retainer fee price and never presented me with the retainer fee papers to sign. Now he asked me to sign some papers this past weekend and now he wants more money and haven't done a thing with the first fee that he got from me. I don't know if he's tired or sick, but hasn't done not one thing. I shall not be a fool the 2nd time. I really want my first fee back. At least you could have done something. I looking at prior reviews which were back in 201... read more

Look out for this guy. Once you pay him his retainers fee, he will give you a vague handwritten receipt and not do the job you paid him to do. For example, I paid him over $900 to expunge my record. After paying him, it was like pulling teeth for him to do anything. He gave me excuse after excuse. Finally, after over a year, I came to find out that he was not even working to expunge my entire record (as he initially agreed when I paid him), but only one simple isolated arrest. And he tried telling me that I only paid him to ... read more
